How to setup Using Multiple news server for auto fills of missing blocks

I am currently using agent 6, I have been reading that some news
readers can be configured to use multiple news servers and that they
will automatically use priority news server and when there are missing
parts then switching to another news server to fill in missing parts.
Can that be set up in agent 6 or do I have to have Agent 7.

currently when I find there are missing parts after it is downloaded,
then to fix I download again from another news server which means I
use more then needed from my block news server.

any help would be greatly appreacated

in fact since Agent v3.0.

I had looked at the server configuration but what I needed was to set
up the access account. So now will check it out. Do you know that if
when downloading a message header example part01.rar that is only
missing 1 block, will agent detect that missing block and get it from
the next priority news server?

On the News Access Plan, "Retrieving Bodies" tab, make sure this
option is turned on

[x] When an error occurs, failover to the next server in the plan


You should also set the News Access Plan, "Retrieving Headers" tab,
so Agent will retrieve headers from all servers which you can get
bodies from, and not just the first server. Reason being that if
the first server does not have (say) "part01.rar (3/5)", neither
the body nor the header, then Agent won't know how to download that
bit of "part01.rar" without a header for "part01.rar (3/5)" from
some other server.

OK did a test, works great so far. used nzb file as opposed to
downloading headers. What was confusing me is that when I created the
nzb file, said all parts were available (2000/2000 etc.) but then
would have a part not download or be missing usually only 1 block.
sometimes 2. but so far this metheod is working now that I have set
up the servers and access plan correctly.
